I do NOT dematt dogs. It is a painful process. If the matting to to the skin and over more than 20% of the body the dog will have to be shaved for an additional cost. Matting is difficult to remove and can be time consuming, painful and challenging for the dog and groomer. a fee will occur for matted and pelted dogs that need to be shaved prior to bathing and essentially groomed twice, will be assessed at time of grooming and charged accordingly. or dog will be returned and original fee will be 

For in between or if you find brushing your dog difficult- I am here to help. These appointments are quick but cam be so beneficial if you are not comfortable with brushing your dog out.

I also offer communication sessions with pets and parents as well as end of life sessions.

I highly recommend you get your puppy groomed as soon as they are able. Getting used to being handled, bathed, brushed, nails clipped, ears cleaned and all of the things is very important early on as the dog will be comfortable and know what grooming is. it can take time, patience and exposure. I do not recommend cutting down a puppy coat, as it can ruin the consistency as the dog matures, I do recommend grooming and trimming, if the puppy become matted it may need to be shaved. price will start
